Περιγραφή

`On leaving Troy`:
Smoke was still rising from the castles in Troy. Odysseus, the man who with his cunning plans had guided the Greeks into the impregnable city, looked at it from the ship, deeply moved. For ten years Greeks and Trojans had fought fiercely in those castles. Countless daring men had lost their lives attacking or defending those fortresses. Now everything had come to an end. It was time to make his journey home.
`Brave companions, the moment that we have been dreaming about all these years has now arrived. Hoist the sails! Let`s set off for home,` he shouted loudly. His voice was lost amidst the loud cheering as the ships sailed into the open sea.
From Mount Olympus the frowning gods saw the victors leaving the crumbling city full of pride. They had, however, shown the defeated disrespect and had treated them with cruelty. And this would not go unpunished.
