Dear Reader, 

I have been learning English since I was 4 years old.  I studied English Literature at the University of Athens and I have taught English in Private and Public Schools in Greece, as well as in VocationalTrainingCenters and Institutes.   My MBA at the University of Strathclyde was held in English, of course, giving me the opportunity of exploring another dimension of the language, that of its use in the Business and Management field.

In my professional life as a manager in Greek and Multinational companies, I communicated in my every day practice in English, I negotiated and networked in this language.  

English, therefore, is a part of me!  Sometimes I feel that this is my native language, if I dare to say so.  I find myself thinking and talking mostly in English, yet I adore my real native language Greek and its origins. 

While teaching, I’ve always tried to design, create and build my own class material, except from using reliable and very well known textbooks.  This book contains material used by me while teaching all these years that my teaching experience took place, and I really hope it will assist employees, executives and other professionals in the use of English language on an every day basis, as well as in the field of business practice they have chosen.
