Palaia Kameni and Nea Kameni are the two volcanic islets located in the middle of the present caldera of Santorini. These islets were formed utterly from lava derived from Earth’s inside during the historical times after the renowned Minoan eruption. Today they are a unique geotourism destination attracting millions of visitors everyday!
